valentines day logo on googleDoodle 4 Google is a competition where Google invites K-12 students form USA to play around with their homepage logo and see what new designs they come up with. All what Google do is just set up theme for doodling and let the children come up with their ideas in Google’s logo. this year’s intriguing theme was “What I Wish for the World.”

The basic idea behind this was actually the scientific changes the world is going through. They can get the dreams out of every children on the canvous and let the world know what the children of this era are thinking! Well actually its a really nice idea to. According to Google “we can’t think of anything more important than encouraging students to do the same.”

There are age categories defined for Doodle Competition i.e Grades K-3, K-4 to 6, K-7 to 9 and K-10 to 12. They come up with their ideas on Google logo and they are then put on the Google for voting by the public.

Prizes

The National Winner will win a $15,000 college scholarship to be used at the school of their choice, a trip to the Google New York Office, a laptop computer, and a t-shirt printed with their doodle. We’ll also award the winner’s school a $25,000 technology grant towards the establishment/improvement of a computer lab.
