URL shortener is a new service launched by Google in which URL’s are being shortened or you can say squeezes them into fewer characters to make your link easier to share with other people on social networking forums or via emails. There are some reasons behind this like stability of your URL will be enhanced plus great importance is being given to security issues and last but not the least speed of short URL’s. This URL shortener is only available for Google but will be available soon for other sites.
