One of the best real-time communication platform provided by Google named as Google Wave, made a great impact on the users last year. They are looking to get attraction for the developers with the launch of robots API and v2.

Especially for those guys who are still not familiar; developers are allowed to create two types of extension under the umbrella of Google wave:  robots and gadgets. Robots are automated participants within waves and Gadgets are applications that can run inside of waves.

Most attractive or you can say the big feature of the latest robots API is the active API, core function of this API is that it allows Google wave extensions to push information into waves. We can assess clearly that we can update the information automatically which includes weather updates, tweets etc… from some users.

Sad point for Google is ‘Buzz’ which was launched last year and no doubt it is almost died but Wave is driving attraction of the developers and will try to facilitate the developers with their updates.
