Google is again in the limelight by making a landmark in its business deals in this year. Google has now hit the market by making collaboration with the licensing partner to the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Global Cricket Ventures. This association will allow Google to live stream IPL cricket matches on YouTube. The live streaming of the 2010 IPL season that has duration of 45 days will be the first large-scale global sporting event that will be streamed on YouTube by Google and will acquire the viewership with least approximation of half-a-billion viewers and thus turn out to be a gigantic pact. The IPL season’s sensation has also turned on the Indiagames, one of the India’s largest gaming companies. To deliver games around the Indian Cricket tournament, Indiagames have successfully bought the official gaming rights to the IPL tournament.
In the next 45 days, we can assume and entertain ourselves by the launch of a series of web and mobile apps by Indiagames. The first app that is going to be launched is named as IPL Indiagames T20 Fever which is an online game that allows users with Facebook Connect to create and organize their own cricket teams.
The second online game that has not been released yet is named as “IPL Indiagames 140Cricket” that will have a concept of Cricket Manager. Through this new launch the Facebook and Twitter users will construct and manager teams. The company is also concentrating on a Facebook game as well. To develop all three of the exciting gaming sensations Indiagames has made partnership with Facebook.
